Urban HQ Announces a New Charity Partnership with Aware NI in 2024

Urban HQ is proud to announce a new charity partnership for 2024 with Aware NI, the Depression Charity for Northern Ireland, offering support and education for people with depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder. This collaboration promises to be mutually beneficial, with Urban HQ staff actively engaging in fundraising and awareness raising efforts for AWARE NI and AWARE NI providing wellbeing education and support to Urban HQ employees and Members.

A holistic approach to physical and mental wellbeing is central to the ethos of Urban HQ and is reflected in the values of the company. Urban HQ delivers a wellness programme of weekly yoga and Pilates in the bespoke Wellness Studio, including monthly Lunch & Learns and social events for all Members. The charity partnership with Aware NI complements an already solid foundation of promoting emotional and mental health wellbeing for everyone who works at Urban HQ.

On announcing the charity partnership, Ryan Walker, Owner & Founder at Urban HQ, said: “We asked our whole team to nominate a favourite charity and after careful consideration we decided to partner with Aware NI. We feel that the work of the charity aligns with our passion for promoting and supporting a healthier workplace. Even the building itself was designed thoughtfully with beautiful breakaway areas for members to find headspace during a working day. We are looking forward to fundraising and taking part in some of the Aware NI Challenge Events in 2024, as well as organising a few events of our own at Urban HQ!”
